Haiti needs our help.
"As you may have heard, the island of Haiti was struck by an earthquake on January 12, 2010. The ground shook off over 250,000 homes, and took the lives of 170,000 Haitians. The devastation down there is unreal. Families are torn apart, lives destroyed and little recourses to work with. This is where the action begins. As a community, we could take ourselves for a little less than important and give, serve, or help those who are in complete need."
We are small design team made up of students in Austin, TX we were devastated by what was going on down in Haiti and we want to do something to help, no matter how big or small the support will be. We came up with an idea.
We want to sell T-shirts for $10 each with 100% of our profit going towards the Haiti relief efforts. The money would go directly towards the medical teams, their equipment, the medicine, construction, and anything else they might need down there.
The organization we will be sending the money through is called Mission of Hope Haiti and you can find their website here http://www.missionofhopehaiti.org/ where you can find out what the money will be going towards. We will sell the T-shirts across multiple campuses, our churches, and neighborhoods.
